The backdrop of a jungle village sets the scene for the much loved fable 'The Tale Of The Sick Lion'.

The story is imaginitively brought to life in puppetry by world class puppeteer Uncle Brian. Uncle Brian has over 15 years of experience in puppetry and childrens entertainment and has entertained children throughout the country since 1992.

Using his own puppet creations Uncle Brian re-tells this well known story with a moral from within a booth whilst interacting with the audience.

Uncle Brian meets a variety of puppet characters during his search for the long lost treasure on safari. The Safari show opens with the audience shouting 'It's behind you' in a traditional pantomime style routine as a monkey pops up and down in various windows of the jungle mud hut. Two or three boys and girls win balloon wands which they use in an attempt to catch the monkey.

This leads into the puppet show with lots of audience participation and interaction between the children and characters of the puppet show. Next the audience is split into two sides to cheer support for children invited out from the audience to take part in a fun competition involving giant block building.

The final act of the pantomime is the magic part of the show. A spell is needed to reveal the long lost treasure.

Duration of the show is approximately 1 hour and is suitable for children up to 12 years old. Space is required for the booth which measures approx 7 ft high by 11 ft length.
